I got off the train this morning and noticed these bright red ornaments on California Street. There is nothing more charming then the city getting all dressed up in holiday decorations.
I am so proud of myself, there I said it…I made some of the best Miso soup I have ever tasted, with a little help from the always fabulous, 101 Cookbooks. It was absolutely delicious. I added some Baby Belle Mushrooms and left out the pepper and Spinach/Watercress…in summary, it was finger lickin’ good!
Specialty’s Wheat Germ Chocolate Chip cookie with a tall glass of milk. This will turn any one’s frown upside down, guaranteed.
On day I will purchase all my home goods from Knoll… until then, it’s you and me Ikea.
Passed this little sidewalk sale while running errands, on Saturday. Look at the lovely Mid-Century treasures perched up on the stoop…Reason #972 why I love SF.
Call me crazy, but I think it would extraordinary amounts of fun to run a vintage gas station and just sip Dr. Peppers in glass bottles on the porch all day, and pump gas for the local clientele. New career move 2020…

Ventured down to the Ferry Building Farmer’s Market today and bumped into this little gem, Arlequin Bakery. I am not really a pastry/donut gal…but Nutella donut, you have got to be kidding me!

I appreciate your vicinity to a coffee shop right out side my door, a back yard 6 times the size of my space, your closeness to the train, beautiful Golden Gate Park and the comfort and independence you make me feel each day…
